It’s been a busy time for the Richborough team. More than a dozen land promotion projects have now come forward as planning applications and these involve approximately 2000 dwellings.
Paul Campbell states “It’s been a period of pressure for the team but we’ve needed to make sure that our opportunities are maximised as soon as possible. It’s been important for example to make sure that we conducted all ecological surveys before the seasonal window closed. Some planning authorities have been unable to demonstrate a 5 year housing supply and/or have outdated plans. Therefore, we’ve fast tracked some of our applications in the hope they’re met with a presumption in favour of sustainable development.
