Leading strategic land promoter, Richborough Estates has secured outline planning consent on a 6.8 acre residential development site in Leicestershire.
Situated on Great Lane on the edge of the historic village of Frisby on the Wreake, the site has been approved for the delivery of 54 homes, 40% of which will be affordable.
With planning consent in place Richborough Estates is now looking to appoint a development partner who will bring forward the development.

“There has been no significant housing development in the village for 40 years and the delivery of new homes will play an important role in supporting existing community resources such as the pub, primary school, village hall and post office.”
An historic village that dates back to at least the 9th Century, Frisby on the Wreake is situated 5 miles from the town of Melton Mowbray and 13 miles from Leicester. The A607 runs to the south of the village, providing access to the national motorway network via the M1.
Steve continued: “The site’s location is perfect, with access to the A607 meaning that developers will not need to run construction traffic through the village or across the level crossing, minimising impact to local residents.”
