Richborough are looking to bring forward an outline planning application for approximately 120 dwellings on land to the north-west of Baldwin’s Gate which is approximately 14 acres.
Pre-application meetings have taken place with Officers at Newcastle-under-Lyme Borough Council. In terms of the principle of residential use, the Council accepts that it has not delivered sufficient housing in recent years, as required under the National Planning Policy Framework (NPPF). Accordingly, any application must be considered against the presumption in favour of sustainable development as set out within the Framework.
A public consultation event will be held at Whitmore Village Hall on Wednesday 17th July 2013 between 3pm – 7pm. Further details of the exhibition will be provided in due course.
