Richborough began promoting this Green Belt site back in 2014 with the support of Oxford based Strutt & Parker.
We are pleased to announce that after a lot of hard work promoting the site and achieving planning permission James Bradshaw and his team completed a sale to Bovis Homes this month.
It is an excellent 14.5 acre site situated just a mile from the town centre, located on the Warwick Road and adjacent to Kenilworth Cricket Club.
We have worked extensively with local stakeholders and partners to deliver a high quality residential development that provides wider benefits to the local community including affordable housing, local transport improvements and public open spaces including equipped areas suitable for younger members of the community.
The site will feature 125 new homes, of which 40% will be provided as affordable housing. House styles will range from starter homes to larger family properties. The development is well located with excellent access to local amenities and beautiful countryside.
The site also helps Warwick District Council fulfil its local housing targets required as part of its Local Development Plan.
James and his team, working alongside Richard Foxon at Strutt & Parker, managed to achieve an excellent result for the business and the landowners and this reflects the pent up demand in an area largely constrained by Green Belt.
