Appeal A – The appeal is dismissed and outline planning has been refused for 510 houses, including 35% affordable housing, a care home and other associated facilities, on land at Melton about 8 miles west of Hull.
Appeal B – The appeal is dismissed and outline planning permission has been refused for 390 houses and for 7.7 hectares of employment land, either (1) with 40% affordable housing or (2) with 25% affordable housing and a £6m contribution to a new bridge over the railway to improve access to a large area of employment land to the south of the appeal site.
