Accordingly, the Secretary of State agrees with the Inspector’s recommendation. He hereby allows the client’s appeal and grants planning permission for: housing (up to 350 dwellings); a multi-purpose community building; car parking; hard and soft landscaping and open space; a sustainable urban drainage system; and new vehicular, cycle and pedestrian routes and accesses together with all associated works at land to the south of Shutterton Lane, Dawlish, Devon, in accordance with application reference 12/02281/MAJ, dated 17 July 2012, subject to the conditions listed in Annex A to this letter.
