Accordingly, for the reasons given above, the Secretary of State disagrees with the Inspector’s recommendation and hereby dismisses the appeal and refuses outline planning permission for the application as revised for up to 200 dwellings, including 40 self build plots and 37 retirement apartments, affordable housing, community building comprising flexible A1/D2 ancillary space, new public open space and new access roads at land off Driffield Road, Allaston Road and Court Road. The appeal is made by Allaston developments Ltd against the decision of Forest of Dean District Council
