The appeal is dismissed and outline planning permission has been refused for up to 222 dwellings including affordable housing; land for doctors surgery and associated parking; green infrastructure accommodating landscaping, allotments, public open space, children’s play space; new roads, car parking, cycle ways and footways; associated infrastructure, including a sustainable drainage system; principal vehicular access to be secured from Crawley Road and a secondary pedestrian, cycle and public transport access from Bourne End Road. The application Ref CB/17/00976/OUT, dated 24 February 2017, was refused by notice dated 8 June 2017. The appeal is made by Hallam Land Management Ltd against the decision of Central Bedfordshire Council.
