The development proposed is the residential development of up to 10 dwellings with associated new vehicular access, car parking, associated infrastructure and landscaping following demolition of existing dwelling and outbuildings has been dismissed.
The main issues are therefore:
• the effect of the demolition of the building as a non-designated heritage asset;
• the effect of the proposed development on the character and appearance of the area;
• the effect of the proposed development on the living conditions of surrounding occupiers; and,
• whether the proposed development should include affordable housing.
