The development proposed of up to 42 dwellings plus 2 replacement dwellings togetherwith public open space, landscaping, drainage infrastructure and access has been dismissed.
The main issues are: (i) whether the development would accord with development plan policies relating to the location of development in the administrative area of Bassetlaw; (ii) the effect of the proposal on the character and appearance of the area; and (iii) whether the proposal makes adequate provision for affordable housing, bus stops, open space, and a sustainable urban drainage system (SuDS).
