Was a joint venture with Barberry
Approximately one acre of land on the edge of the Markham Retail Centre was purchased by Richborough Estates and Barberry Properties in 2003. It is ideally situated on the edge of the town centre and bridges the out of town shopping experience with the town centre itself.
By 2005 the land was redeveloped with the building of two 10,000ft2 purpose built retail units which were quickly let to Allied Carpets (Unit 1a), Sleepmaster (Unit 1b) and SCS (Unit 2). The prime retail park was sold to client of CBRE Investors shortly after practical completion.
