Jews Lane, Dudley
A prime development site in the popular Milking Bank area of Dudley, totalling approximately seven acres. The site was designated as a ‘Special Employment Zone’ within Dudley’s Unitary Development Plan. However, the site lay undeveloped for over 20 years partly due to unusually high costs associated with any redevelopment for employment.
Richborough therefore promoted the site for residential use. In 2006, following a Public Enquiry, Richborough Estates successfully secured an outline consent for residential use and sold the land to Taylor Woodrow Developments, latterly renamed Taylor Wimpey. Over 100 dwellings now occupy the site with a gross development value in excess of £22,000,000.
