A prime development site in the popular Milking Bank area of Dudley, totalling approximately seven acres. The site was designated as a ‘Special Employment Zone’ within Dudley’s Unitary Development Plan. However the site had lay fallow for over 20 years and had significant inherent abnormal costs associated any redevelopment for employment.
Richborough therefore promoted the site for residential use. In 2006, following a Public Enquiry, Richborough Estates successfully secured an outline consent for residential use and has since sold the land to Taylor Woodrow Developments. Over 100 dwellings will occupy the site with a gross development value in excess of £22,000,000.
